About the Program
Pharm. D
Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) is a six-year professional doctoral program (5 years of academic study + 1 year of compulsory internship) that prepares students to become clinical pharmacy professionals and medication experts. The program focuses on patient-centered healthcare by integrating pharmaceutical sciences with clinical practice.
Students develop advanced knowledge of pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacy, pharmacology, hospital pharmacy, patient counseling, drug safety, and healthcare management. Through extensive hospital training and clinical rotations, they learn to work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

Eligibility
Admission to the Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) program is open to candidates who meet the following eligibility requirements as per the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the affiliating university guidelines:
Minimum Qualification
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics or Biology (PCB/PCM).
- OR Passed D.Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
- Must have obtained the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the affiliating university and regulatory authorities.
- Admission is granted based on merit and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university and the Government.
